Cellen is Anne’s oldest friend. They met on Anne’s first day at a new middle school, when Cellen volunteered to show her around and became her first friend. Shortly after, they discovered they were neighbors which kicked off years of after school hangouts where they watched Ghost Whisperer, countless sleepovers, and many shared adventures biking around the neighborhood (Cellen’s favorite story to share about the bride involves a bike). Even though they ended up attending different high schools and colleges, their bond has never faded. I guess it’s hard to avoid someone when they’re your neighbor. Now 26, they’ve managed to stay just as close, always finding their way back to each other no matter where life takes them. Hopefully Cellen never finds herself more than 2 hours away from Anne again.

If Anne had to trust one person to come up with a trip itinerary besides herself, it would be Cassy. Anne credits Cassy for being the one to keep their friend group together by always volunteering her home for their hangouts and always trying to coordinate and plan events when everyone is in town. Even now they still remain close, bonding over their love for the Dodgers and most of all, their shared obsession with their dogs.
